    The breeder guarantees the purchased kitten:
  • Vet Health Checked

    Your kitten has been vet checked and is clinically healthy at the time of purchase and is free from communicable diseases for a period of 72 hours from the date of leaving Bengal Cats Australia.
  • Vaccination

    Your kitten has been vaccinated once with an F3 vaccination and has a Veterinary vaccination card providing proof of current vaccination status. Your kitten will need a 2nd vaccination booster. The due date of this is written on your vaccine card, found in your vet folder.
  • Wormer

    Your kitten has been treated with a broad spectrum worming product every 2 weeks from the age of 2 weeks until the collection or departure of your kitten. Your kittens next worming is due at 16 weeks of age. Our preferred wormer is: Milbemax
  • Microchip Information

    Your kitten has been microchipped and the paperwork has been submitted to Central Animal Records on your behalf by Bengal Cats Australia.
  • Pet Plan Insurance Policy

    Your kittens 6 week Pet Plan Insurance cover has been activated on the day of departure. There is a 72 hour waiting period before this can be used, as per Pet Plans policy.
  • Desexing Certificate

    Your kitten has been desexed and you will have a desexing certificate within your vet folder.
  • To activate your kittens 72 hour current health guarantee

  • Independent Vet Health Check

    You, the purchaser are required to take the kitten to a veterinarian for an independent health exam within 72 hours of your kittens arrival date.
  • Vaccination of all existing felines within your home

    You must ensure all existing felines within your home have a current vaccination card, where the last vaccination date is no less than 2 weeks prior to your Ashmiyah kittens arrival.
  • Worm all existing pets within your home

    You must ensure all existing felines within your home have been given an all-round worming treatment, 2 weeks prior to your Ashmiyah kittens arrival.
  • Health Related Claim

    You, the purchaser must notify Bengal Cats Australia of any health related claims within 24 hours of your kittens first veterinary health examination of being unwell.
  • Major Disease or Illness

    Should your Ashmiyah Bengal kitten be diagnosed in writing via a certified veterinarian to have contracted any major disease or major illness prior to its departure from Ashmiyah Bengals, the breeder will offer the following remedies at the breeders discretion.

    1. Return your kitten to Ashmiyah Bengals for a full refund (all freight costs remain the responsibility of the purchaser)

    2. Return your kitten to Ashmiyah Bengals for a replacement kitten. The purchaser will be offered the next available replacement kitten. If no replacement kitten is available at that time, the breeder will have 12 months to furnish the purchaser with a satisfactory replacement. (all freight costs remain the responsibility of the purchaser)

    3. Ashmiyah Bengals may choose to work with you and your chosen veterinarian to provide treatment for the deficiency or illness. Please Note: Your kitten is not guaranteed against accidental death or injury at any time after your kitten leaves the care of Ashmiyah Bengals.

    The breeder is not responsible for contagious diseases to which the purchased cat/kitten is exposed to during shipping that are not evident during the initial guarantee period

  • 1 year Congenital & 2 year Genetic Guarantee

    The term "Congenital" means that it is present at birth but implies it is a development abnormality that occurred during the growth of the foetus while in the uterus, rather than a hereditary defect or abnormality.

    The term "Hereditary" means that the condition was inherited by the kitten directly from the kitten’s dam or sire genes.

    The breeder guarantees the purchased kitten against congenital defects for 1 year from the date of birth.

    The breeder guarantees the purchased kitten against hereditary genetic defects for 2 year from the date of birth.

  • In the event of a guarantee Claim

  • Guarantee Terms & Conditions

    1. If within this period, a qualified veterinary examination finds the purchased kitten to be medically deficient with an untreatable or life threatening congenital defect or, a hereditary genetic defect (excluding accidents or neglect) a written statement from the said veterinarian MUST be provided to the breeder to activate your guarantee.

    2. If the purchased kitten dies within that time as a direct result of a congenital defect, an autopsy report by a qualified veterinarian (at the cost of the purchaser) MUST be provided to the breeder as proof of cause of death and to support any claim under this guarantee.

    3. The purchaser MUST notify any claim to the breeder within 24 hours of such veterinary examination.

    4. Upon Ashmiyah Bengals sighting a copy of the relevant veterinarian report or an autopsy report in the case of a deceased kitten, the purchased kitten will be replaced with another kitten of equal value and equal guarantee.

    5. If no replacement kitten is available at that time, the breeder will have 12 months to furnish the purchaser with a satisfactory replacement. (all freight costs remain the responsibility of the purchaser)

    6. If the purchased cat/kitten is euthanized without the prior knowledge of the breeder, expect in the case where a veterinarian considers it the only humane alternative, this guarantee becomes void. This requires written veterinarian proof.

    7. Where a replacement kitten is requested or where euthanasia is requested, the purchaser agrees to grant full access to all veterinary records to the breeder. Veterinary records include copies of actual visit cards to veterinarians stating vaccinations, injuries, test results. Etc. during the period the kitten is owned by the purchaser.

    8. If the purchased cat/kitten is diagnosed with a minor imperfection (not known at time of sale) that requires no treatment and does not interfere with the normal function and purpose of the purchased cat/kitten, then no replacement or refund will be given.

    9. No refund or replacement will be given for any condition or defect caused by accident, neglect or malnutrition.

  • CONDITIONS OF SALE / RESPONSIBILITIES OF PURCHASER

    1. It is considered common cattery practice and good animal husbandry to isolate any new addition to a multi-cat household for a period of 2 weeks. The purchased kitten should not be exposed to another cat or kitten that has not been currently vaccinated or which has had exposure to other cats or kittens that are not currently vaccinated. Exposure of the purchased kitten to diseases or hazards will immediately terminate all heath guarantees or options for a replacement.

    2. The purchaser is responsible for providing immediate veterinary care to the kitten/cat in the event that it show signs of illness or distress. Failure to do so will render this guarantee null and void.

    3. The purchaser is required to adhere to responsible cat ownership practices where they will keep their kitten/cat indoors or contained within a cat enclosure/catio for outdoor time. Or conduct outdoor time on a harness and lead.

    4. Should you, the purchaser allow your Ashmiyah Bengal kitten or cat any free roaming time outdoors without supervision, you will render this entire guarantee null and void.

    5. The purchaser will continue to maintain the health of the kitten with regular vaccination boosters by a qualified veterinarian and maintain regular and appropriate worming and parasite control programs for the kitten.

    6. The purchaser will provide the kitten/cat with premium kitten/cat food.

    7. The purchaser confirms to update all kitten/cat microchip information records in the event of changing phone numbers or address.
