5 weeks old
Our 3 little beauties are entering the Bengal Fuzzies now which is muting their colouring and masking their patterning. Over the coming weeks the Fuzzies will clear and they will start to get their normal high gloss Bengal coats back.
We still have our eye on all three to see is we have a keeper and over the next week or so, we may send off some DNA samples to UC Davis in California to help us decide who to choose.
We may have a Keeper 🙂
There are three kittens in this litter that have really caught my eye. We have one Brown Rosetted boy and two Brown Rosetted girls, and at this stage, all three are under evaluation as potential additions to my breeding program.
One of the main goals of a good breeding program is to improve with each generation. That means looking beyond a kitten simply being beautiful and assessing the whole package as they grow. Pattern, colour, structure, type, coat and the qualities they can potentially contribute to the next generation all come into the picture.
It’s far too early to make any decisions at three weeks old, but I have to say, this litter is giving me plenty of reasons to concider a keeper.
Exceptional From Birth
This is what we get when we put our gorgeous Golden Goddess, Ashmiyah Out Of Africa, to our handsome Golden God, Fernando.
They really have outdone themselves with the quality of these Bengal kittens. They’re only three weeks old, and already bursting with the traits and features we love to see in our kittens.
The pattern, colour, structure are all popping!
I’m very excited to see how they develop over the coming weeks.
